Spicy Plum (Aloo Bukhara) Chutney With Nuts Recipe |
• Plums black 1 kg
• Vinegar 1.4 cup
• Black pepper 1 Teaspoon flat
• Sugar 2 cups
• Cashew nuts1/2 cup halved
• Almonds skinned off and halved 1/2 cup
• Raisins one cup
• Pinch of Salt
• Lemon juIce 1/4 cup
How to make Spicy Plum (Aloo Bukhara) Chutney With Nuts
METHOD:
1. Boil the plums in a pan on medium heat with six glasses of water.
2. Add sugar, vinegar,pepper,and continue boiling till the tecture thickens into a pasty but clear one.
3. Add cashew nuts, almonds and raisins .lemon juice and let it simmer for few more minutes.Remove, cool and serve with any food.
4. You may also put in bottles and keep for furthur use. Its better to refrigerate.
5. Remove seeds.
