Capsicums 8
Carrot (grated) 1
Potatoes (bOiled and cubed) 2
Green chillies (chopped) 3
Chicken pieces
(bOiled and shredded) 6
Peas (mashed) ½ cup
Tomato Ketchup ½ cup
Cumin seed (roasted and powdered) 1 tsp
Ginger/Garlic paste 1 tsp
Chilli sauce 1 tsp
Red chillies (crushed) 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil ½ cup
How to make Jalfrezi with Stuffed Capsicums
METHOD:
1. Cut off tops of capsicum; scoop out inners with a knife.
2. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a saucepan; fry ginger/garlic.
3. Add potatotes, peas, carrots, red chillies, cumin, tomato ketchup chicken, chilli sauce, green chillies and salt’ fry; allo to cool.
4. Fill capsicums with little fried mixture’ set aside the remaining.
5. Cover capsicums with the cut out tops, securing them in place with toothpicks.
6. Heat remaining oil in a frying pan; sauté capsicums; remove.
7. Place capsicums on top to remaining mixture; leave on dum.
